Join us for the Soaking in the Still Mind workshop

Oak Bay, Victoria, BC

May 31st – 1:30pm-4pm

In Eastern systems, the Heart and Mind are inseparable. In Chinese medicine, the Heart-Mind is central because it houses our Shen or Spirit, which guides our Dao or purpose in life. As we still the mind, the Heart and Spirit also settle.

We’ll begin with a short talk and presentation, then move to the floor with “soaking practices”—gentle, therapeutic somatic movements designed to refine awareness of your chest, lungs and heart. As we slow down, breath, body, and mind unify, and we awaken to more subtle experiences. As the practice unfolds, we gradually and deliberately move toward standing postures before transitioning into the teachings of stillness and practices of restorative yoga and meditation.

This workshop is $45 CAD + 5% tax. This includes all fees.

Please use the “Register Here” button to register and pay by credit card. If you are Canadian, please e-transfer $47.25 (includes tax)
