Today I have the pleasure of interviewing Anne Cushman, Anne is an accomplished author and Buddhist mindfulness and yoga teacher. Anne is the director of the Mindfulness Yoga and Meditation Training at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and is a former editor at Yoga Journal and Tricycle. Her personal essays have been published in the New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, O magazine, and the Shambhala Sun.

Most recently Anne published Moving into Meditation: A 12-Week Mindfulness Program for Yoga Practitioners, a book that helps yogis integrate mindfulness practice into their yoga asana.

In our interview Anne speaks about how we can soothe the nervous system and decrease stress through our yoga and meditation practice. Please enjoy the following interview where we explore how to use our mindfulness practice to find more peace in our lives.
